| This is the first Jhankhi of the day. The name Mangla underlines the auspiciousness of beginning the day with a glimpse of the Lord. In winter, this darshan is before the sunrise while in summer, the darshan is later. In summer, Shreenathji wears a Dhoti while in winter he wears a Rajai/Coat. Arti is done during this darshan and this darshan is dedicated to Parmanandadasji (Poet). | An hour after Mangla is the next darshan Shringar. Here Shreenathji is dressed with a mala/garland of flowers. The Mukhiyaji (Priest) holds a mirror in front of Shreenathji so that the Lord can satisfy himself that he is well dressed. A flute is placed in his hand. This darshan indicates that Shreenathji plays with his friends during this time. Dry fruits and sweets are offered to Shreenathji and his dress varies according to season and festival. The songs are sung by the poet Nandadasji. |

| This is the third Jhankhi when Shreenathji takes his cows to the field. Neither flowers nor flute are shown during this darshan as during this darshan Shreenathji plays with his cowherd friends. During this darshan Dhoop Deep is performed. Dhaiya, a light dish with a milk base is offered to the lord during this darshan. The poet, Shri Govind Swamiji is remembered in this Jhankhi. | The main darshan of the day is Rajbhog. The main meal of the day is offered to Shreenathji at Rajbhog. Shreenathji is well dressed, holding lotuses & wearing a garland of flowers. Bidas, folded betal leaves containing mouth freshners are placed near the Lord. Shreenathji is served with delicious and nutritious food. At the end of this darshan, Shreenathji retires for the noon. An arti is performed. The Kirtankar is poet Khumbhandasji. |

| During the afternoon, between 2.30 & 3.30 p.m., Shreenathji wakes up after his nap. A conch is blown, as it is time for Shreenathji to return home with his cows. The Veena is played and the Kirtankar (poet) is Surdasji. | During this darshan, Shreenathji is offered fruits and a light meal. At this time a Chadidar (guard) informs Svaminji of Shreenathji’s arrival, so that she can arra nge to milk the cows. The Kirtankar in this Jhankhi is Chaturbhujadasji. |

| This seventh Jhankhi is at dusk when Shreenathji brings his cows back home from the fields. At the time of this darshan, Shreenathji wears light vastra (garments). The lord is offered his flute so that he can enchant his devotees & cowherd friends. Evening arti is performed. The Kirtankar is supposed to be Chitarswamiji. | This is the last Jhankhi of the day. Shreenathji retires for the night. Thakurji is offered bidas/paan of betal leaves. An arti is performed. This darshan is usually held for six months. The Kirtankar is supposed to be Krishnadasji. |
